NAIFA Podcast FAQ
What is a podcast?
A podcast is an audio file in MP3 format. The file can be played right now, by pressing the play button or downloaded to your computer or MP3 player, including iPods, cell phones, pocket PCs and PDAs. Podcasts are distributed using RSS feeds.
What is a feed (RSS)?
Feeds, also known as RSS feeds, XML feeds, syndicated content, or web feeds, contain frequently updated content published by a website. They are usually used for news and blog websites, but are also used for distributing other types of digital content, including pictures, audio files, or video.

Do I need an iPod to listen to NAIFA's Podcasts?
No. Our Podcasts are the same as any audio file and can be burned to CD, loaded onto an iPod or other mp3 player, or simply played on the computer through the Internet right now.
Why can't I see a play button to listen to the podcast now?
If you can not see the gray flash player with a play button on the left side, the Flash Player is not properly installed or updated on your computer. Flash Player is free software that lets you view web content created by Flash. Our podcasts use flash to play the audio file so that you do not need to download the file. Most browsers come installed with Flash Player, so you may already have a previous version of Flash Player installed. You may just need to update to the latest version if the website contains features that require a newer version. For best results, download and install the latest version from Flash Player Download Center.
