NAIFA Selects Lorri Ragan as Assistant VP of Communications

FALLS CHURCH, VA ― February 7, 2008 ― The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the nation’s largest financial services membership organization, today announced that it has hired Lorri Lee Ragan, APR, as Assistant Vice President of Communications. In this role, Ragan will assist Lee Allen, Vice President of Communications and Marketing, in executing the overall communications and marketing functions as called for in NAIFA 21, the association’s strategic plan. In addition, she will manage the award-winning magazine, NAIFA’s Advisor Today, and oversee many of the organization’s publishing functions.
Ragan has 21 years of experience in communications and public relations. Prior to joining NAIFA, Ragan served as Director of Communications for the American Land Title Association, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the bimonthly magazine, managed the association’s public awareness campaign, and led the association’s communications efforts. Previously, she worked for the International Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus, as well as the American Society of Association Executives.
“With Lorri’s hire, we have substantially reinforced our communications resources, a major focal point of the NAIFA 21 plan,” said John J.
